“ We were in Edinburgh for 2 days with much disappointment in most of our meals and during the first day my partner and I happen to chance upon this cute little basement spot. Dare I say it's our highlight of the trip, we went for brunch on the first day, did not have a booking and they managed to have a table for us. We had the pistachio pancakes and eggs Benedict. It was divine. Food's affordable, Service was great, ambience was amazing and the food, divine. We had to come back the next day before our flight back. This time round having the pistachio pancakes AGAIN and trying something new - their horiatiki salad. It was amazing as well. Also can I just say they have one of the best coffees that Edinburgh has to offer? Most coffee I've had tasted like sewage water but their coffees here just made me knew I'm gonna have a good day. Impeccable service too, waitresses and the chefs were amazing. I don't give much google reviews but this place.. chefs kiss. All in all an awesome place please do check it out! ”
“ This brunch place is the best one I have ever went to so far! The atmosphere was just perfect with very kind and friendly staff combined with great music. The food was amazing! The pancakes were so filling and delicious. Couldn’t ask for more!! ”
“ It’s the gem of Edinburgh. I had a dinner a few months ago when they first started doing dinner menu and it was AMAZING! All the dishes was phenomenal and in generous size. The haddock soup was a surprise so creamy and rich in flavor. The octopus is one of the BEST I’ve had. The chimichurri sauce matched perfectly with the turkey wings. And the poached pear dessert was refreshing. The service was great too. Just loved everything here. We even got a parfait as a gift. Been here for brunch thousands of times and dinner turns out to be as nice as the pancakes! It’s been 3 months since my last visit, I tried different restaurants in the city and it’s still the most satisfying dinner I’ve had. I have to go back here again soon. ”
“ We had breakfast with our two kids and it was amazing. There are many different pancakes with so many different mixes of flavours in them. We tried the ones with bacon jam, the ones with peanut butter and bananas and a few more and EVERYTHING was amazingly delicious. The personnel was kind and with attention to the kids. The tables are small, but it leaves a feeling of coziness. I would definitely recommend this place for breakfast and probably for lunch/dinner as well, although we haven't tried any of the lunch/dinner dishes. If we are ever back in Edinburgh for another trip, I would definitely visit again!!! ”
“ Very very nice small spot for your breakfast/brunch in Edinburgh, the pancakes were super soft and moist, I love the contrast with the blueberry and lemon custard that made them not overwhelmingly sweet. The staff was really nice and I definitely wanna mention that in the bathroom there are so many self care products available if needed, including pads, which is a very sweet gesture! ”
“ Lovely small brunch restaurant in town! I’m glad we catch the chance to visit here in our little trip in Edinburgh. It was a busy Monday but all staffs served with hospitality and patience, and the food is all very outstanding - neither too sweet nor too greasy. Definitely a gem ”
“ We went there for lunch and we're greeted by fantastic servers, the place has got really great atmosphere & amazing music!! Pancakes were displayed beautifully, so filling and delicious! Will definitely come back! ”
“ We came in for breakfast, on a recommendation, and aside from a hiccup with ordering, everything was wonderful. We had Blueberry Hibiscus Pancakes, Peanut Butter Pancakes, and granola bowl, and they were all fabulous! Beautiful presentation and absolutely delicious. We were especially impressed with how attentive the chefs were to the dining area, noticing everything going on in the whole restaurant. The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. We'll definitely be back. ”
